Google Inc. is offering holiday air travelers free WiFi at 47 participating airports this holiday season. The complimentary service will run through Jan. 15. Unfortunately, Phoenix Sky Harbor is not one of the participating airports, but you can Click here for details of Google’s offer and too see a list of participating airports.
When you sign in for the free service you will be asked if they want to set Google as your homepage or if you would like to try the Google Chrome browser.
Users will also be asked if they want to contribute to three nonprofit groups Google has partnered with: Engineers without Borders, One Economy Corporation and Climate Savers Computing Initiative. Google said it will match donations of up to $250,000 per airport.
