Microsoft opens 1st retail store in Scottsdale

by Michele on October 30, 2009

Last week Microsoft Corporation opened its 1st retail store in the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall in hopes of connecting better with its customers.

The opening coincided with the company’s launch of Windows 7, its new operating system. The store is stocked with Microsoft software products as well as computers, Xbox 360 consoles and games, phones running Windows Mobile, and more. It intends to focus on Microsoft products but will carry some other brands as well.

Microsoft’s chief competitor, Apple Inc, already has developed a line of retail stores and has six in Arizona, including five in metro Phoenix.

This is really nice. Now the people have the access to get the genuine parts.
